Crafting Skills
Crafting Skills govern gathering resources, refining materials, producing finished goods, and improving equipment. They use Producer Experience rather than the adventuring experience pool. The current system contains sixteen disciplines arranged conceptually around Gathering, Refining, and Production.
The interactive tree below links to each discipline hub. It reflects the current wiki organization; the historical Crafting Sigil differs because Fishing was added later and Agriculture changed classification.

Crafting
- Crafting skills are grouped into three functional rings.
- Skills contain innate and, in some disciplines, active Glyphs trained with available Producer Experience.
- Individual recipes still determine the required station, tool, ingredients, skill, and output.
There are three main categories of Crafting and 16 professions.
- Gathering: Field Dressing Skills, Fishing Skills, Foraging Skills, Forestry Skills, and Mining Skills.
- Refining: Agriculture Skills, Butchery Skills, Milling Skills, Smelting Skills, Tanning Skills, and Textiles Skills.
- Production: Alchemy Skills, Blacksmithing Skills, Carpentry Skills, Cooking Skills, and Tailoring Skills.
Crafting Dependencies
Gathering, Refining, and Production form a network rather than sealed one-to-one pipelines. A resource or component may serve several disciplines, and some Production recipes consume raw materials directly. The recipe is authoritative.
Gathering Dependencies
- Field Dressing primarily supports Butchery and Tanning and also supports Textiles and Alchemy.
- Fishing primarily supports Butchery and Cooking.
- Foraging primarily supports Alchemy and also supports Cooking and Textiles.
- Forestry primarily supports Milling and also supports Cooking and Butchery.
- Mining primarily supports Smelting and also supports Alchemy and Cooking.
Refining Dependencies
- Agriculture primarily supports Cooking and Textiles.
- Butchery primarily supports Cooking.
- Milling primarily supports Carpentry and also supports Blacksmithing.
- Smelting primarily supports Blacksmithing and also supports Alchemy.
- Tanning primarily supports Tailoring.
- Textiles primarily supports Tailoring.
Production Skills
The production skills focus on the following item types in game (note - crafting is still in development):
- Alchemy - Potions, Scrolls, Enchantments, Poisons (Debuffs)
- Blacksmithing - Mechanical Objects (clocks, lanterns, lamps, etc), Jewelry, Bladed Weapons, Arrows, Chain Armor, Plate Armor
- Carpentry - Wooden Tools, Ranged Weapons, Combat weapon components, Furniture, Musical Instruments
- Cooking - Baked Goods, Alcohol, Cheese, Stews, Soups, etc. (provides buffs)
- Tailoring - Cloth Armor, Leather Armor, Clothing (cosmetic), Bandages, Rugs & Tapestries, Linens.
Training and verification
Crafting skill records and recipes carry mixed verification dates. A lastseen release indicates when the wiki record was checked, not when the skill was introduced or a guarantee that its values remain unchanged. When testing, record the game release, skill level, equipment and bonuses, station, tool, exact inputs, output, timing, and any success or bonus result.
See Producer Experience for the training pool, Recipe Book for learning and discovery, Crafting Station for station types, and Crafting for the complete workflow.
The Crafting Sigil
Rings
There are four rings of Crafting Sigil. From outermost in:
- The Creed,
- Production,
- Refining,
- and Gathering
Runic Translation
Outermost Ring - The Crafting Creed
Starting at the One O'Clock and moving around clockwise, the runic reads:
"Craftsmanship is Earned ~ Honed through Practice ~ Attention to Detail ~ Elegant and Functional ~ Refined and Durable"
Second Ring - Production
Starting at the 12 O'Clock and moving around clockwise, the runic reads:
"Blacksmithing ~ Carpentry ~ Tailoring ~ Alchemy ~ Cooking"
Third Ring - Refining
Starting at the 12 O'Clock and moving around counter-clockwise, the runic reads:
"Smelting ~ Butchery ~ Tanning ~ Textiles ~ Milling"
Innermost Ring - Gathering
Starting at the 12 O'Clock and moving around clockwise, the runic reads:
"Mining ~ Lumberjack ~ Agriculture ~ Field Dressing ~ Forage"
Trivia
- The word "Attention" is spelled wrong in the runic original (likely a simple overlooked typo).
- "Lumberjack" on the sigil has been changed to "Forestry" in-game, and "Forage" on the sigil has been changed to "Foraging" in-game.
