Young Ichthyosaurus is a rare young variant of the Ichthyosaurus caught through Lava Fishing. It was added to the fishing loot tables with eleven other young trophy-fish variants in Release 88.[1]
Characteristics
The Release 88 notes describe young fish as easier to catch than their ultra-rare full-size counterparts, with typical catch rates across the group between 1% and 3%. Young fish can be placed as decorations, do not carry trophy data, do not scale, and appear at 25% of the size of the smallest trophy version.[1]
Processing and crafting
Young fish were introduced so they could be processed at a Butchery Station with the same butchery recipes as their larger versions.[1]
