Spotted Catfish is a fish found in Fetid Water. It was introduced with the new fetid-water fish in Release 100.[1]
Obtaining
Spotted Catfish can be caught while fishing in fetid water.[1]
Crafting
The Release 100 announcement stated that a trophy recipe was created for each of the five new fetid-water fish, including Spotted Catfish.[1] The exact recipe name and its current availability still need to be confirmed in-game.
Verification needed
The following details should be checked against the current live game:
- the item's inventory weight, resale value, and rarity;
- the exact icon filename used by SotAwiki;
- whether caught Spotted Catfish carry trophy data;
- the current name, ingredients, source, and teachability of its trophy recipe;
- which bait types provide a bonus when catching Spotted Catfish;
- whether it can be caught in every fetid-water fishing location or has additional scene restrictions; and
- the relationship between this item and Large Spotted Catfish, which is linked by the fishing navigation template but does not yet have an article.
