The town tier field records a Player Owned Town's administrative size tier. Use the tier currently assigned to the town, such as Holdfast, Crossroads Village, Municipality, or Teralopolis.
Town tier and numeric capacity are separate facts. Record the verified lot-area allowance in Town size rather than inferring it from the tier name. Leave either field blank when its current value is unknown.
The supported tier sequence is:
Holdfast → Hamlet → Village → Crossroads Village → Town → City → Metropolis → Municipality → Megalopolis → Gigalopolis → Teralopolis
Tier names and upgrade terms can change. Check the official Player Owned Towns page when updating a record.
