Ring of Death is an Artifact ring that increases Death Attunement.

Regarding modifications to artifact rings (such as the Ring of Death):

Can be socketted with a non-imbued Jewel. For example, if you socket this ring with a Necromancy Jewel (Refined Gemstone), then you will add an additional +5 death attunement to the ring.
Can be modified with Enchantment.
Cannot be socketed with an Imbued Jewel.
Cannot be Masterworked.

Note: for comparison, a crafted (non-artifact) metal ring will give +5 death attunement when socketted with a Necromancy Jewel (Refined Gemstone) and +12 death attunement when socketted an Imbued Necromancy Jewel.

Where Found

Ring of Death, Common can be obtained by completing one of the Daily Quests for Timothy the Enchanter.

Ring of Death has a chance to drop as loot from Skeleton Mages, with increased drop rates from high tier Mages.^[1]
