The Imbued Jewel of Avoidance can be socketed into a non-artifact crafted Ring and Necklace items, with the recipe Recipe: Imbued Jewel Socketed Ring or Amulet.
The chance for this item to be yielded from salvaging, depends on the tier type of the item salvaged. Artifact Salvaging Chance to yield an Imbued Gem or Jewel:

- Acaran gear now drops more readily. The legs have small chances to drop from clockwork monkeys Tier 5 and above. Higher tier creatures provide greater chances for the items to drop.[1]
