Tools

Template:Tocright There are 2 types of tools in game:

• Equipable Tools - these must be equipped in order to conduct Refining, Gathering, and Production.
• Non-equipable tools - these tools are placed on a Crafting Station as part of a recipe.

Properties of Tools

• Tools will not function if they have zero durability.
• Each time a tool is used, its Durability is reduced by 1 point (except Prosperity Tools, which do not lose durability).

Non-Equipable Tools

These tools are placed on a Crafting Station as part of a recipe; they are not equipped.

Non-equipable tools cannot be repaired and cannot be modified with a Tool Engraving Kit.

In the recipe book, recipes that use non-equipable tools will list the tool among the ingedients and the tool name will be followed by "(τ)" (Greek letter Tau).

Equipable Tools

These tools must be equipped in order to conduct Refining, Gathering, and Production.

Equipable tools can be repaired and can be modified with a Tool Engraving Kit.

Engraved Tools

All Standard Tools can have a Tool Engraving Kit applied to them, giving the Standard Tool Bonuses on the item.
