Tools

Template:Tocright File:Smithing Hammer icon.png There are 2 types of tools in game:

• Equipable Tools - these must be equipped in order to conduct Refining, Gathering, and Production.
• Non-equipable tools - these tools are placed on a Crafting Station as part of a recipe.

Properties of Tools

• Tools will not function if they have zero durability.
• Tools have a starting Durability of 100, and will be reduced by 1 point of durability per use (except Prosperity Tools, which are indestructible and do not lose durability).
• Equipable tools can be repaired with a Repair Kit - Tool to restore a small amount of Durability. See Durability for detatils.
• Standard Equipable Tools can be enhanced by applying a Tool Engraving Kitto the tool, giving the tool various positive and negative Bonuses.

Non-Equipable Tools

These tools are placed on a Crafting Station as part of a recipe; they are no equipped.

All Standard Tools can have a Tool Engraving Kit applied to them, giving the Standard Tool Bonuses on the item.
