Tools

Template:Tocright There are 2 types of tools in game:

• Equipable Tools - these must be equipped in order to conduct Refining, Gathering, and Production.
• Non-equipable tools - these tools are placed on a Crafting Station as part of a recipe.

Properties of Tools

• Tools will not function if they have zero durability.
• Each time a tool is used, its Durability is reduced by 1 point (except Prosperity Tools, which are indestructible and do not lose

Non-Equipable Tools

These tools are placed on a Crafting Station as part of a recipe; they are not equipped.

Non-equipable tools cannot be repaired and cannot be modified with a Tool Engraving Kit.

In the recipe book,recipes that use non-equipable tools will have the tool listed as part of the recipe and they are shown with a "(τ)" after them (Greek letter Tau).

Equipable Tools

These tools must be equipped in order to conduct Refining, Gathering, and Production.

All Standard Tools can have a Tool Engraving Kit applied to them, giving the Standard Tool Bonuses on the item.
