Nightshade is a magic spell Reagent and a resource used in the Alchemy skill. This can be harvested from a Nightshade Plant using the Foraging skill in adventuring areas or grown as a crop with the Agriculture skill. Nightshade can also be obtained as loot from defeated creatures, purchased from NPC merchant vendors or purchased from player vendors.

Nightshade has the following uses:

• Used as a reagent when casting certain Magic Skills.
• Used as an ingredient in certain Recipes.
• Consumed - which inflicts 10 points of Poison Damage on the Avatar.
