Expert Tanning Station is a placeable Refining crafting station for Tanning recipes. While it is in use, this Expert Crafting Station adds +5 Tanning to the Avatar's base Tanning skill.
Use and bonus
The station supports the ordinary Tanning workflow described by Tanning Skills. Its +5 bonus supplements the user's relevant skill; it does not teach recipes, provide ingredients, replace required tools, or permanently raise the skill.
Crafting requirements were formerly described through Crafting Proficiency. Release 50 removed Proficiency as a player-facing value and changed requirements and station bonuses to use Skill Level instead.[1] The crafting interface should be used to confirm the effective skill and requirements for a particular recipe.
Acquisition and variants
Expert stations have historically appeared in premium-store selections and bundles, but availability can change. This page does not assume that the station is currently sold. The standard and Founder variants, when documented, appear in the station list below.
Expert, standard merchant, Founder, and Benefactor crafting-station families received decoration surfaces in Release 82.[2]
