Rabbit Locations in Castle Atos is a content-library Lua add-on for the Point of Interest System. It supplies POIS with the possible fox and rabbit locations used by the Castle Atos daily task; POIS provides the interface that displays and tracks the points.[1]
Getting started
- Open Community Addons with
/addonsand install the Rabbit Locations library. - Install and enable its required SotA Event System (SES) and Point of Interest System (POIS) dependencies.
- Enable Run for the library. Newly installed add-ons begin disabled.[2]
- Use POIS in Castle Atos to view or track the supplied locations.
The library has no window or commands of its own. It requests no Internet permission and does not read chat or files. Disabling it removes its supplied points from POIS.[1]
Using the supplied points
The points appear in POIS only while Castle Atos is the active scene. Use POIS search, color filters, visibility controls, tracking, and beacons as with personal points. The library owns their names and coordinates, so they cannot be renamed or deleted; local color and visibility overrides are allowed.[3]
Exporting a library point through POIS creates a shareable personal copy for the recipient. This is unnecessary for someone who can install the maintained library directly.
Troubleshooting
- Confirm that SES, POIS, and Rabbit Locations are all installed and enabled.
- Enter Castle Atos; points are scene-specific.
- Clear POIS search and color filters, then use All On.
- Reload once after correcting dependency state. POIS uses SES per-sender replay to recover the library's announcement even when the packages start in a different order.[3]
The package announces the stable library key rabbit-points-atos and retracts it when disabled. It contains only encoded point data and the SES load/unload bootstrap.
