Add-ons/Point of Interest System (POIS)/Commands

From Shroud of the Avatar Wiki - SotA

Commands

POIS provides chat commands for opening the interface and managing points without the mouse. Enter /pois or /pois help for the in-game list.[1]

Command Effect
/pois Open the main POIS window
/pois help Print command help
/pois list List points in the current scene
/pois list-scenes List scenes that contain saved points
all> Show one current-scene point or all of them
all> Hide one current-scene point or all of them
/pois show-color <color-name> Show current-scene points of one color
/pois hide-color <color-name> Hide current-scene points of one color
/pois add <point-name> Add a point at the character's current position
/pois remove <point-key> Remove a personal point
/pois rename-point <point-key> <point-name> Rename a personal point
/pois color-<color-name> <point-key> Assign a named POIS color to a point
/pois change-color-<color-name> <color-value> Change the display value associated with a named color
/pois set-view-distance <distance> Set the world-label distance limit; 0 means unlimited
/pois set-scale <scale> Set label scale; 1 is the default
/pois set-height-offset <offset> Set label vertical offset; 2 is the default
/pois search-scene-points <text> Search point names in the current scene
/pois search-all-points <text> Search point names in all saved scenes

Point keys are the identifiers printed by POIS list and search output; they are not necessarily the friendly name shown above a point. Commands operate on the current scene unless their description says otherwise. Be careful with remove: the window offers a confirmation dialog, while a command is intended as a direct action.[1]

Export and import

The legacy names export-point, import-point, and export-points are recognized only to direct the user to the interface. Use the main window's Export and Import buttons: chat input can corrupt long encoded strings. See Sharing and point libraries.
