RELEASE 141, August 28, 2025
Release 141 went live on August 28, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. CDT, three days later than originally scheduled. It concentrated on player-dungeon construction, decoration and equipment fixes, and repairs to stuck spots and scene details across New Britannia. The release also introduced craftable fish racks, improved several existing dungeon pieces, and gave returning players fewer opportunities to become unwilling parts of the scenery.[1]
The official launch notes contain 38 entries across crafting, interface, world, quest, town, dungeon, and basement work. That is a count of published entries rather than individual bugs fixed; several entries combine multiple related corrections.[1]

A later launch, with the lake left ashore

R141 was originally scheduled for August 25, but the team moved it to August 28 because of the amount of work still underway and a real-world flood affecting the release lead. The announcement was unusually direct about unfinished content: the enormous Lava Lake player-dungeon room had not passed internal quality checks and therefore did not enter even a QA beta build.[1]
What did launch was a smaller set of practical dungeon additions and fixes. Humanoid enemies in Blackblade Pass began dropping a recipe and blueprint for a lava fishing grotto, although the room was not spawnable. Booksellers gained the recipe and blueprint for a straight, half-length stone dungeon hall. The standard straight stone hall received corrected level-of-detail configuration, its secret-door T-intersection could connect properly, and the Hilt Rotunda's decoration surfaces were updated.[1]
The announced Lava Lake, new spawning rooms and spawns, houses, Birch Island adventure dungeon, and Episode 2 zone remained future work. They are part of R141's development context, not features of its launch build.
Fish racks, bundle boxes, and less haunted housing

Decoration merchants in North Paladis gained recipes for three craftable fish racks. Streamer Bundles began including an Empty Streamer Bundle as a guaranteed additional drop, allowing the container itself to be reused as decoration. At the same time, the number of bathtubs found in those bundles was halved.[1]
Placement behavior improved for the beachball and all gustballs. Mature decorative lettuce received material changes so it looked less like cabbage at night, while four tiki-mask patterns became valid choices for reshaping cloth helmets. Ancient Xenossian Armor Leggings received a modest dye-appearance pass.[1]
The fireplaces in all three Wood and Plaster row homes also became better houseguests. Their ember glow stopped appearing while the fire was unlit, and light no longer leaked outside from beneath the building. Further firelight adjustments were still pending.[1]
Cloaks stopped floating above Fortified Leather Quarter Armor and Ringmaster Vests. Dye slots were removed from the Emperor's New Clothes, an unusually literal case of having nothing left to recolor.[1]
Interface and store corrections
Town-size units were corrected in tooltips on the decoration toolbar and palette. Store shelf names were repaired for the Red Tulip Patch Set and Pink Flowering Azalea Bush 6-Pack, and the Castle Tower Teleporter received an accurate store description.[1]
These were small changes, but they addressed information players use before placing decorations or making purchases. R141's interface work was less about a new system than making existing labels trustworthy.
Fewer stuck Avatars
Much of R141's world work was a methodical pass over places where characters could become trapped. Forest Siege, Lamech's Bazaar, North Shattered Hills, Penmawr Island, Ravensmoor, Sanctus Spine, Serpent Spine Mines, Spectral Mountains, Superstition Canyon, Verdantis Mines, and Xenos all received geometry or object changes intended to close stuck spots.[1]
Central Brittany took a more welcoming approach: several teleporter hatches were added atop Castle Brittany so stranded climbers had convenient exits. Bunker T blocked two stuck spots, added a ladder, and updated its water visuals. North Shattered Hills also shed unused world objects and received a regenerated path grid.[1]
Elsewhere, the comet's materials were restored to their earlier appearance, a sunken chair in Castle Atos returned to floor level, and Xenos lifted several bedrolls out of the dirt. Fishing Expedition gained updated beach props.[1]
Conversation, loot, and town identity
Aerie corrected grammar and reward logic in Shandala Truesong's response about magic. Broken Echoes Silver Mine fixed the spelling of “Broken” in a journal entry, while South Quel Woods replaced a rope recipe in the scarecrow's loot with actual rope.[1] Sometimes the shortest crafting lesson is simply handing over the rope.
The player-owned town of Memories was renamed from Kyoto and moved from the Swamp Island 01 biome to Swamp Island 01a.[1] Because both the name and biome changed together, visitors relying on older directions had two details to update.
Rewards and release events

Subscribers who logged in during R141 received a Summer Apple Tree, six Open Book Patterns, and an Eternal Pattern for a Stone Fish Dungeon Entrance that could be placed on land or water. Every account logging in during September received a Studious Squirrel Statue.[1]
The post-release community livestream was scheduled for August 29. The announcement also documented an August 28–September 5 sale window for the Crown Store, Crowns of the Obsidians, and deed upgrades.[1] Those dates are retained as release history and do not describe current availability.
What returning players should know
- The lava fishing grotto recipe and blueprint were obtainable, but the room was not yet spawnable.
- The much larger Lava Lake room did not ship in R141.
- Castle Brittany's rooftop escape hatches offered a way out of several stuck locations.
- North Paladis decoration merchants sold three new fish-rack recipes.
- Streamer Bundles always included a reusable empty bundle in addition to their normal loot.
- Kyoto was renamed Memories and changed to the Swamp Island 01a biome.

Research boundary
The official launch announcement is the completeness baseline for R141. It distinguishes the August 28 launch build from planned dungeon rooms, spawning content, houses, Birch Island, and Episode 2 work. A small August 29 patch listed on the official patch-notes page is later than the launch-day cutoff and is not folded into this article.[2]
