Player Run Town

A Player Run Town (PRT) is a developer-maintained settlement built primarily to provide housing for players. Despite the name, a PRT has no player governor: its scene, services, and lot layout are maintained by Catnip Games.

Housing and services

Available property markers can be claimed with a compatible Lot Deed. Release 97 established a minimal complement of NPCs and crafting stations near PRT entrances and allowed POT-only deeds to be used in every PRT.

The exact lot sizes and services vary by scene. A Town Crier may help visitors identify available housing.
