Help:WikiMinder achievements
More actions
Achievements celebrate the ways people help keep the wiki current: first checks, long streaks, reports that led to fixes, settling disagreements, and more. Like Renown, they are just for fun and never make your answers count more. See also: Help:WikiMinder, Help:WikiMinder Renown and ranks.
Finding achievements edit
Special:Achievements lists every achievement you can work towards, with what it takes and how far along you are. The ones you are closest to come first.
Many come in tiers: bronze, silver and gold. Some grant a title you can display.
Some achievements are hidden and show only as ??? with a hint. A few are secret and aren't listed at all until someone finds them. Nobody will tell you how: that's the fun.
What counts edit
Achievements come from the same useful answers that earn Renown, so:
- they are counted even after you reach the daily Renown limit;
- answers that don't earn Renown (your own edits, repeats, piling on) don't count towards them either;
- if moderators remove the answers an achievement was earned with, the achievement goes away too.
When you unlock one, a notice pops up the next time you load a page.
Show them off edit
On your user page edit
Add this to your own user page:
{{WikiMinder badge}}
for a card with your rank, Renown, title, season rank and the achievements you chose to show off, or
{{WikiMinder badge|style=compact}}
for a single line. The badge updates itself. It only works on your own user page, so nobody can put your badge, or theirs, anywhere else.
Choose your title and the (up to three) achievements on your badge on Special:MyRenown.
In forum signatures edit
On Special:MyRenown, turn on Forum signature to get a small picture of your compact badge, with the wiki's name, to paste into your signature on the game forums or anywhere else. It updates itself too. The picture's address doesn't contain your name, and turning it off makes old copies show only a plain banner for the wiki.
Your privacy edit
If you'd rather not be shown, see Help:WikiMinder privacy. Your badge and signature then show nothing about you.
