Castle Lot Deed is the general name for a Lot Deed large enough to claim an available Castle lot or any smaller compatible lot. Castle lots measure 80 by 120 meters and are the largest standard housing lot size.
The exact restrictions depend on the deed's full name. For example, a Player-Owned Town (POT) deed is limited to compatible lots in a Player Owned Town, while water and tax-free designations change where the deed can be placed and whether the claimed lot incurs property tax. A deed may claim a lot of its own size or a smaller size. Taxes are based on the size of the lot claimed rather than the size of the deed; the established daily tax for a Castle lot claimed with a taxed deed is 4,000 gold.[1]
Keep- and Castle-size Player-Owned Town deeds became available from Crown merchants with Release 59.[2] Lot deeds can also have size and type upgrade paths using Crowns of the Obsidians, subject to restrictions described by the game.[3]
