When crafting weapons in Shroud of the Avatar you can change the Refined Elements you use to produce a different modifier. An example is a Short sword you craft with a White Iron Hilt and a Bronze Blade would have the White Iron and the Bronze Bonus. This modifier does not stack so using the same metal (Copper + Copper) twice won't double the bonus.
When crafting weapons in Shroud of the Avatar, you use various Crafting Component items to assemble weapons. Each Crafting Component used, will add it's inherent Material Crafting Bonus to the crafted item.

After crafting the weapon, it can be socketed with a gem by Combining a Smithing Hammer + a Crafted Weapon + a Gem in a Alchemy Station. Finally, it can be masterworked and/or enchanted.
After crafting a weapon, it can be further enhanced by adding masterworks and enchants to the weapon.

You can also socket a Gem or Imbued Gem, at an alchemy station, to weapons. Once you have applied a Gem to a weapon, adding masterworks and enchants to the weapon, also allow for additional bonuses to be applied to the weapon, based on the type of Gem socketed onto the weapon.
*Note: Imbued Gems currently do not offer any additional masterwork or enchantment options specific to the Imbued Gem socketed onto the item.

Template:Under Construction When crafting weapons in Shroud of the Avatar, you use various Crafting Component items to assemble weapons. Each Crafting Component used, will add it's inherent Material Crafting Bonus to the crafted item.

 • Note: Imbued Gems currently do not offer any additional masterwork or enchantment options specific to the Imbued Gem socketed onto the item.
