Template:Infobox The Crafting Sigil displays the various areas of skill in which a craftsman may seek training.
The Crafting Sigil displays the three rings of Crafting: Gathering, Refining and Production. Each ring contains five different skills. The innermost ring is the Gathering Ring and includes: Mining, Forestry, Agriculture, Field Dressing, and Foraging. The middle ring is the Refining Ring and includes: Smelting, Milling, Textiles, Tanning, and Butchery. The outermost ring is the Production Ring and includes Blacksmithing, Carpentry, Tailoring, Cooking, and Alchemy.
The rings represent the paths required to make items.
Skills included on the Crafting Sigil include:
Gathering
- Mining - metallic ore, salts, gems, minerals, and reagents
- Forestry - wood, insects, nuts
- Agriculture - food and textile crops
- Field Dressing - animal carcasses, hides
- Foraging - reagents, hopper, beetle carapace
Refining
- Smelting - ingots, wire, blanks, sheet metal
- Milling - timber, boards, poles
- Textiles - thread, cloth, yarn
- Tanning - leathers, skins
- Butchery - chops, ribs, roasts, steaks, organs
Production
- Blacksmithing - metal tools, weapons, armor, construction materials (nails)
- Carpentry - wooden tools, weapons, furniture, musical instruments
- Tailoring - armor, bandages, clothing, textiles, taming collars
- Cooking - baked goods, alcohol, cheese, stews, soups, etc.
- Alchemy - consumable items (potions), enchanted items, poisons
Trivia
- The Crafting Sigil was first revealed in the Update of the Avatar on October 18, 2013.[1]
- Fishing was added later in development and does not appear on the Crafting Sigil and is a Gathering skill.
