Merchant Types are a Specialty designation assigned to each Merchant Vendor, and vary by what type of Merchant Inventory it sells to the Avatar.
- Each Merchant Type has a base set of merchant inventory items for sale.
- Each Merchant Type is associated to either the Crafting, Combat, Decoration or Housing systems.

- Alchemist (Items related to the Alchemy Skill)
- Blacksmith (Items related to the Blacksmithing and Smelting Skills)
- Brewing Supplies Merchant (Items related to the Brewing Category of the Cooking Skill)
- Butcher
- Crafting Merchant (Supplies related to Crafting Skills)
- Farmer (Items related to the Agriculture Skill)
- Tailor (Items related to the Tailoring and Tanning Skills)
- Vegetable Merchant
