Crafters Ledger is a Lua add-on for turning known recipes into shopping lists and locating their materials across a player's account. It plans work and points toward stored items; it does not craft or move them.[1]
Planning a craft
Open the ledger with its book-and-quill icon, assigned add-on key, or /ledger. Search the known recipe book, review the required skill and expected output, choose a batch count and any alternative materials, then add the ingredients to the list. Expand an entry to see its materials. The ledger compares Have with Need and filters the list by To get, All, or Ready.[2]
Material quantities can be edited directly. Removing a recipe removes its contribution while preserving quantities shared by another recipe. Players may also add an individual material, paste a custom list, or label supplies for a recipe without increasing the needed total. The list and labels persist between sessions.[2]
Finding materials
Find items accepts words from an item's name in any order when that item appears in recipes, the bag, or the shopping list; otherwise use its full name. Expanding a result breaks its total down by bag, bank, lot, and individual container.
The Inventory and Account choices control what Have counts throughout the ledger. Account storage includes banks, house containers, other characters, mail, and vendor listings. Account-wide counts require Lua API 55; the package itself can run on API 37. The most recent account counts remain visible while fresh values are fetched.[2]
Stand beside a container and select Mark to remember its position. Compass points toward it in that scene, Re-mark updates a moved container, and Unmark removes the position. Name assigns a personal label such as “Reagent Chest.”
An on-screen tracker presents remaining materials like quest objectives, grouped by recipe. It can be stretched from any edge, right-clicked to fade, and given no, light, medium, or dark background. Removing a recipe from the tracker leaves it in the shopping list; Track all restores hidden recipes. Use the shopping-list toggle or /ledgertrack to show or hide it.[2]
Saved data
Plans and location information are stored in CraftersLedger-data.tsv and compatible ShoppingCart-data.tsv files in the main Lua folder. Back them up before replacing files manually, and preserve them when upgrading from an older copy.[2]
