Converts a portion of damage received from physical attacks to health. Death Specialization increases the duration of the shield.
Effect
- Cooldown: 6 seconds
- 20% Chance to consume reagents
- +35% Fizzle Chance From Equipment
- +10% Death Transfer Percentage for 2 minutes+0.1667% transfer and +1 second per Death Shield level
+1% duration per Death Magic Mastery %, if Death Magic Specialization is training or maintaining - +10 Death Attunement for 2 minutes+0.1 attunement and +1 second per Death Shield level
+1% duration per Death Magic Mastery %, if Death Magic Specialization is training or maintaining - −25% Healing Modifier for 2 minutes+1 second per Death Shield level
+1% duration per Death Magic Mastery %, if Death Magic Specialization is training or maintaining
Increasing Death Shield level raises the focus cost, but lowers the fizzle chance.
Death Attunement affects the duration.
Stacking and charging glyphs improve the focus cost, death transfer percentage and duration, and death attunement bonus and duration, but also increases the healing modifier penalty and duration.
Limits
Death Shield will cancel Immolation, Shield of Air, Shield of Crystal, and Shield of Ice, and vice versa.
