Chris Spears is the Technical Director of Shroud of the Avatar. While his official title is Tech Director, he worked on several roles from lead technical designer to programmer and even company lawyer at one point. Chris Spears was teaching C++ at the University of Texas at Arlington before his brother talked him into joining the game industry which he's been a part of for 20 years.
