Richard Garriott

Richard "Lord British" Garriott is the creative director of Shroud of the Avatar. He is known for coining the term massively multiplayer online role-playing game and creating the Ultima Series as well as Ultima Online. In 2006, he is inducted to the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences Hall of Fame for demonstrating "the highest level of creativity and innovation which results in significant product influence on a scale that expands the scope of the industry".
