The Obsidian Panopticon
Template:Infobox Location Template:Tocright The Obsidian Panopticon is a Tier 12+ Adventuring Area on the continent of Mistrendur. You must have Episode 2 Access to visit this scene.
To use the elevators, you must use the "Fragile Panopticon Elevator Key" in the keyhole on the elevator post. You need to use this key to unlock each elevator to the next higher level (although, once you unlock an elevator, it remains unlocked until you leave the zone). Since this is a Fragile Key, it will break 75% of the time when used, so you may need multiple copies of this key to ascend all the way to the top level. When the key is in your inventory, click on the keyhole and the key will be use to unlock the elevator. Then, click on the lever (which is usually on the opposite elevator post) to move the elevator up and down. The Elves drop the "Fragile Panopticon Elevator Key" as loot.
Unique Characteristics and Loot in this Zone[edit]
- Recipe: Imbued Chaos Gem - this is the only zone where this recipe drops as loot. This recipe drops from the Elves.
- Recipes to socket imbued gems and jewels - this is the only zone in which these recipes drop as loot. These recipes drop as loot from the Elves, with the highest chance to drop from the Obsidian Watch Commander.
- Good zone to hunt for Taming Artifacts - atop the cliffs near the North entrance, high tier Wolves and Bears frequently drop taming artifacts.

Lore[edit]
- Ruthless elves who still worship the Obsidian Eye dominate the eastern region of Mistrendur. Most of those who oppose them are slaughtered without mercy, but a ‘lucky’ few find themselves imprisoned in the elves’ Obsidian Panopticon. Hanging within a bleak, frigid canyon and surrounded by a frozen wasteland, the panopticon offers inmates only one way to escape: death.[1]
