Template:SotAMap/doc

Purpose

This template embeds an interactive SotAMap view. It can center the map on a continent or scene, display markers from Semantic MediaWiki queries or manual input, and provide up to three optional marker layers.

Parameters

Parameter	Explanation
continent	Continent name used by Template:ContinentID and marker coordinates. Defaults to Novia.
scene	Optional scene name resolved through Template:SotAMap/SceneID. Without it, the map uses scene ID 0.
centerX centerY	Initial map-center coordinates. Each defaults to 150.
zoom	Initial zoom level. Defaults to 1.
width height	Preferred map dimensions in pixels. Each defaults to 800. The rendered width shrinks when necessary to fit its container.
clear	CSS clear value applied immediately before the map. Defaults to both.
hideAttribution	Map-control flag passed as data-hideattribution. Defaults to 0.
hideZoom	Map-control flag passed as data-hidezoom. Defaults to 1.
markerQuery	Semantic MediaWiki marker query passed to Template:SotAMap/Marker divs.
markers	Semicolon-separated manual markers. Each marker contains a name followed by two comma-separated coordinate components.
layerGroupQuery1 through layerGroupQuery3	Optional Semantic MediaWiki marker queries rendered as hidden selectable map groups.
layerGroupName1 through layerGroupName3	Display name paired with the corresponding layer-group query.
