Sword

Swords are bladed weapons associated with the Blades combat discipline. The game includes both one-handed and two-handed swords, ranging from daggers and short swords to longswords and larger two-handed blades.

Official equipment classifications identify daggers, short swords, and longswords as Blades. A sword's exact damage, critical chance, durability, equip slot, source, and crafting options depend on the individual item.

Many swords can be crafted, while others are obtained as loot, quest rewards, merchant goods, artifacts, or historical pledge rewards. Crafted examples can gain material bonuses and may be improved through Masterworking and Enchantment.
