Remnant of the Past

Template:Under Construction Template:Infobox Location Template:Tocright Remnant of the Past was an Adventuring Area some players could arrive in, when logging into Shroud of the Avatar on April 1st 2023 00:00 GMT (7pm CT) and lasted 24 hours. This scene played an homage to the first scene released in the game at Release 1, commonly known as The Chicken Room ten years ago. This room was a modified version of the original Chicken Room from Release 1, with several different modifications.

We hope you enjoyed our time travel experiment! What a reminder of how far we have come in 10 years!

Players were hijacked the first time they logged into the game and went to resume where they left off. The 'event' started at 00:00 GMT (7pm CT) on the first and lasted 24 hours.

New players who had not yet completed the Battle of Solace Bridge scene were not sent to the chicken room, and players who did had the ability to obtain a Tome of ancient knowledge that advised there was more to see than just what was before them.

We watched as players discovered the unexpected journey, and posted comments of confusion, shock and glee. Thanks to the entire team who pulled together to make this blast from the past come to life and even managed to keep it a secret!
