Fishing Bait Recovery Chance is the chance to retain bait after a fishing attempt rather than consuming it. The Fish Finder Cloak is recorded with +12.5% Fishing Bait Recovery Chance and an additional Fishing Range bonus.

Release 94 lowered the Fish Finder Cloak's bait-recovery bonus and added its range bonus. That release also introduced the Cloak of the Master Angler, which has a similar bonus specifically named Water Fishing Bait Recovery Chance. The Fish Finder Cloak's recorded value may predate or follow that balance change and needs a current client check.
