Dragon Egg is the ingredient name recorded by the Dragon Egg Omelet recipe, which requires one egg and produces two omelets.
Chromatic dragons began dropping rare dragon eggs in Release 86. The official announcement describes the eggs as placeable decorations that can also be hatched at an Alchemy Station into color-matched Baby Dragon Conversationalists.[1] The following food update described dragon eggs as exceptionally rare ingredients and announced the Dragon Egg Omelet for Release 88.[2]
The wiki recipe does not say whether every chromatic egg is accepted or whether the generic name corresponds to a separate inventory item.
