Aggro Meter is a read-only Lua add-on that turns the selected creature's threat data into a compact list. It helps a party see who is most likely to be attacked without issuing any combat command.[1]

Using the meter

Install and enable Aggro Meter through /addons, then select its tray icon. The meter is initially hidden. Its resizable window shows up to six threat holders, highest first, with each bar measured relative to the leader. The player's row is gold, party members and the player's named pet are blue, other entries are gray, and unreachable entries are dimmed. The header names the target, while a > marks the creature's current attack target.[2]

Use the window's minus or plus button to fold or unfold its bars. The tray's AGGRO strip collapses its icon, and the small tray grip changes its position. These states are remembered across reloads.

The add-on reads threat only while the meter is open and unfolded or while voice alerts are enabled. It relies on the same game data exposed by /verbose aggro; results describe the selected creature rather than every enemy in a fight. A newly selected creature can briefly show no data while the game fetches its threat list. Players and creatures without a list show no threat data.[2]

Pet name and alerts

Target a summon and enter /aggro pet, or use /aggro pet <name>, so its row can be identified. /aggro pet clear forgets the name. The game does not supply a summon's custom name to add-ons; other players' summons are consequently identified by creature type.

Optional voice alerts can announce when the player or named pet becomes the top threat. They fire only when the top position changes. Lost-aggro alerts are available but off by default, and switching targets does not count as losing aggro. Open settings with the tray's equals button or /aggro settings to choose a voice and volume. /aggro test you and /aggro test pet play the corresponding clips.[2]
