Template:Under Construction Template:Infobox Template:Tocright Producer Experience consists of Experience Points (XP) that accumulate in the producer pool, and can subsequently be can be used to raise Crafting Skills.
Players earn Producer Experience by the following methods:
- Gathering (including from Meticulous Collection)
- Refining
- Crafting
- Completing quests
- Using a Book of Learning
The Producer XP is initially stored in your Producer Experience Pool (which can be seen by opening the Skills Window, and then clicking the "Crafting" tab).
As you learn crafting skills (i.e. raise the level of these skills), the XP is transferred from the producer pool and into the skills being learned. XP in the producer pool can only be applied toward increasing the level of Crafting Skills.

Current Available Producer Experience Pool
You can view your current Producer Experience pool total at any time by pressing the default k key that will bring up the Skills Window. Click on the Crafting tab located at the left side of this window. At the bottom of this window will be a display named Pooled Experience. The value shown here is the amount of currently available Producer Experience that can be used to level up Crafting Skills.
You can also type the /xp command in the Chat Window]. This will output the currently available Pooled Producer Experience (Character), Pooled Producer Experience (Shared), and Pooled Producer Experience (Total).
Types of Producer Experience Pools
There are three different types of Producer Experience pools:
- Pooled Producer Experience (Character)
- Pooled Producer Experience (Shared)
- Pooled Producer Experience (Total)
