Obsidian Empire

Template:Infobox Obsidian Empire were a powerful, militaristic organization that attempted to subjugate all the people of the Novia continent, after the Cataclysm and is known as the age of the Obsidian Wars. They were ruled over by an Obsidian Eye and the Cabal of Obsidians.

History

The Cabal of Obsidians were sorcerers who employed powerful magic abilities.

The Empire grew in size and might, eventually forming a huge Army of Obsidian Triumph to conquer the warlords and city-states of the Novian continent.

The sorcerers were not satisfied with a mortal army, and used mutational magic on captured human slaves as experiments to form and reshape them into hideous creatures known as Elves, Satyr, Troll formorian creatures for use in battle. They also commanded the magic to animate the undead.

The first defeat of the Obsidian Empire army was in the city of Opalis by the Norgard Army.

Present Day

Eight wraithlike entities known as Obsidian Cabalists are all that remain of the once mighty Cabal of Obsidians. They lay siege to the towns of New Britannia with a new, subjugated army of humans, the notorious Ebon Dawn Cultists.

The new Archipelago of Mistrendur has been slowly revealing the Obsidian Empires presence was not exclusive to the Novian continent, and is far more reaching than previously known.

Trivia

• During the later events in the Obsidian Wars age The Obsidian Empire was not lead by an Obsidian Eye and only by the Cabal of Obsidians. They bickered and plotted against each other in hopes one of them might attain the Obsidian Eye position of power.
• It is currently unknown what caused the fall of the Obsidian Empire.
• Hidden Vale has no noticeable presence of any obsidian architecture. The Obsidian Empire may have never discovered that continent.
