The skills below will cancel the [[Bleed Damage]] effect, but it will cancel any non-damage debuff that was applied with the Bleed Effect. For example, if you have a rend debuff on you that applied a damage-over-time and a [[Healing Modifier]] debuff, the skills below will remove only the damage-over-time, and not the [[Healing Modifier]] debuff.

A bleed effect is a melee physical attack that punctures, tears, or cuts in a manner that results in bleeding over time (in other words, it inflicts a physical damage-over-time).

Some creatures have an attack that can inflict a Bleed Effect on the Avatar.

Bleed Effects do zero damage to Undead.

Avatar Skills that Cancel a Bleed Effect

The skills below will cancel the Bleed Damage effect, but it will cancel any non-damage debuff that was applied with the Bleed Effect. For example, if you have a rend debuff on you that applied a damage-over-time and a Healing Modifier debuff, the skills below will remove only the damage-over-time, and not the Healing Modifier debuff.

Note: Skills that do not remove a bleed effect include: Purify, Purify Burst, Douse.
