Salvage Item

This skill will allow you to destroy various items and may yield items in return.

  • To view a list of Crafting Components on an item, hover your mouse over the item, and press and hold the CTRL key. This will expand the item view and show any Crafting Components added to the item (if any).
  • Crafted Equipment that have Crafting Components added to them, will never yield these Crafting Components back, through salvage.
  • Crafted Equipment that has a Masterwork or Enchantment added to the item, will never yield back any Gold or Silver Ingots used.
  • Looted Weapons and Armor that have Crafting Components specifically stated on the item, have a chance to yield these Crafting Components, when salving an item.
  • Many Artifact items, when salvaged, can have an Imbued Jewel or Imbued Gem yielded when salvaging an Artifact item. The chance for this item to be yielded, depends on the specific level type of the Artifact item (Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary).
  • The Salvage Item skill can only be used at the Blacksmithing Station, Carpentry Station and Tailoring Station.
  • Items that state specifically: Salvage Yields: and states a pattern, the item when salvaged, will always yield the Pattern stated.
  • Looted weapons and armor can sometime yield a pattern when salvaging these items.
