Blessings are temporary buffs (occasionally with an associated debuff) that last hours to days, and are obtained by completing a task. The task can be simple (such as visiting a shrine or devotional) or more complex (such as solving a puzzle).
How Many Blessings Can I Have Active at Once?[edit]
Each of the blessing types listed below will stack with each other (such that you can have all of these blessing types active at the same time); however, there are restrictions on how many of each blessing type that can be active at the same time. Based on these restrictions, a player can have a up to 9 blessings active at the same time.

3-Day Adventure Blessings[edit]
Each of these blessings are obtained in an Adventure Zone and all of the blessing's effects have a duration of 3 days. You can have a maximum of 2 of these active at the same time. These blessings are typically activated by solving a Puzzle in the zone, after which a blue swirly aura appears on a rounded platform. To obtain the blessing, the avatar must walk into the blue aura.

Stack Blessings[edit]
These blessings are also obtained in an adventure zone (specifically The Rise), but each blessing has several effects, with each effect having a different duration (from hours to days). You can have only 1 of these blessings active at a time. These blessings are activated by solving a puzzle in The Rise, after which each blue swirly aura appears on a rounded platform. To obtain the blessing, the avatar must walk into the blue aura. See this post in the forums for more information about the puzzle.

Devotional Blessings[edit]
These blessings last for 5 days. You can have a maximum of 2 of these active at the same time. These blessings are obtained by jumping into the pool of a Devotional. These devotionals are located in Patron Cities and in some Player Owned Towns. If you obtain the blessing in a Player Owned Town, the power of the blessing will depend on how many lots have been claimed by players in that town (see below). In a Patron City, the power of these blessings are constant (and equivalent to the highest power achievable in a Player Owned Town).

Shrine Blessings[edit]
Blessings are nine different shrines that provide a Shrine Blessing that buffs the Avatar for 3 days with +15 Attunement for a specific magic type. You can have a maximum of 2 different Shrine Blessings active at the same time. These blessings are obtained by standing on the base of the shrine.
All of these shrines are craftable (see Shrines of Attunement for where to find the recipes).
These shrines can be placed as decoration in a Lot, House, Basement, Dungeon, or Player Owned Town. Sometimes these shrines are present in NPC Towns. For more details, see Shrines of Attunement.

Castle Atos Blessings[edit]
These blessings can only be obtained in Castle Atos.
In the main courtyard of Castle Atos, there are two blessing pools (one on each side of the courtyard). Each blessing can be obtained by jumping into the pool. Both of these blessings can be active at the same time, and they stack with other blessings.
The power of the "Atos" blessing depends on how many avatars are in the Castle Atos zone at the time you acquire the buff (with more players generating a more powerful blessing). Once you have acquired the buff, the stats on your buff will remain unchanged for the duration of the buff, even if the number of players in Castle Atos changes (unless you re-acquire the blessing). The "Atos" blessing remains active even if you leave the zone.
The "Learning" buff has a constant power (and does not vary based on number of players in the zone). This buff only lasts while the avatar is within the Castle Atos zone (i.e. the blessing is removed when you leave the zone). This blessing was designed to encourage players to come to Castle Atos by giving them this incentive to train their skills in Castle Atos.
