Purpose
This maintenance template marks a File page whose license has not been identified. It displays a warning and adds the file to a cleanup category.
Usage
{{Unattributed}}
Parameters
This template has no parameters.
Behavior
The template labels the license as Unknown, warns that the file may be removed, links Category:License templates, and adds the transcluding page to Category:Images without license.
Use it as a temporary maintenance marker, not as a license. Replace it with the correct license template once reliable source, authorship, and permission information are established. Do not remove it merely to clear the maintenance category.
See File:Badge-staff.png for a live use.
