Purpose

This general file-license template displays a supplied license statement along with image description, source, author, collections, and optional notes.

Parameters

Parameter	Required	Explanation
`license`	Recommended	Supported license statement. Missing values produce an edit prompt.
`description`	Recommended	Description stored in `has description` and `has caption`.
`source`	Recommended	Original source or direct source URL.
`author`	Recommended	Creator or copyright holder.
`collection`	No	Semicolon-separated collection names stored through `has image collection`.
`notes`	No	Additional licensing or attribution notes; the row is omitted when blank.

The supplied license must be verified independently. Use a more specific license template when one applies. See File:Paxlair town hall r7.jpg for an established use.
