Purpose This parameterless formatting template inserts the standard explanatory note about applying dyes to gear and decoration items. Usage {{Dyes}} Scope The note tells readers to check an item's tooltip for primary or secondary dye layers. It is shared wording, not independently maintained evidence that every referenced item remains dyeable. The current output also contains a punctuation error after “apply a dye”; that legacy wording is documented rather than changed here. See Pure Black Dye 12-Pack for an established use.

NOTE: Dyes can alter the color of many gear and decoration items. To apply a dye. simply drag the dye into the applicable item, then select the primary or secondary layer, then apply. To determine if an item is dyable, examine the tooltip for the item. If a primary and/or secondary layer is indicated, that item is dyable.
