Etceter

The harbour town of Etceter lies adjacent to the mouth of the River Barren in northern Quel, on the southern coast of the Bay of Storms. Once a pirate town, now it is the only deep water port on the southern shore of the bay and has become known as the Gateway to the Southern Straits. It is the only access from overland trade routes from Midmaer through Quel.

Etceter depends upon trade to survive due to the poor agricultural capabilities of the surrounding land. The port of Etceter is one of the few places where men and satyrs meet without violence. The satyrs run a booming trade in helping pilgrims travel to the fabled city of Xenos, where all dreams are fulfilled and all lusts are sated. Can the Avatar travelling the Path of Truth uncover the Artifice barely hidden?

In the time of the Blade of the Avatar novella, Etceter is presided over by a baroness. The Baron's Keep stands as the most opulent structure in town.
