Lord British is a figure of myth and paragon of Virtue, he was the first of the Outlanders to visit the world of Novia, and his influence echoes through the ages. Yet today, many no longer know of him.[1]
Richard Garriott
Richard "Lord British" Garriott is the creative director of Shroud of the Avatar. He is known for coining the term massively multiplayer online role-playing game and creating the Ultima Series as well as Ultima Online. In 2006, he is inducted to the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences Hall of Fame for demonstrating "the highest level of creativity and innovation which results in significant product influence on a scale that expands the scope of the industry".[2]
