Public Vendors are NPC vendors that charge 10% commission after they've sold an item you've listed.. Public Vendors are located in most towns, such as Ardoris, Kingsport, Owl's Head, Solania, and Central Brittany.

"You can place any item for sale with me, set a price for it to be sold, and for a small up-fron fee (10% of the sale value, plus 10 gold) I will sell it for you for up to 7 days (or until you cancel the sale.) Once an item is sold, i will send the proceeds to your bank here. If an item does not sell within 7 days, I will sell the item to a local merchant here for you as a courtesy, at the going merchant rate, and send the money from that sale to your bank. As a public vendor, I do have some limits o what I can keep for sale - I can stock 5 items per player and 200 items in total. I can only hold so much! Eventually, if you own your own property, you will be able to hire your own vendors which will not have these restrictions."
