A source of power for high level spells, it is gathered with a sickle. A mandrake is the root of a plant, historically derived either from plants of the genus Mandragora found in the Mediterranean region, or from other species, such as Bryonia alba, the English mandrake, which have similar properties. Mandrake plants are generally found in outdoor areas near undead. Note that while mandrake plants can be found in the Plains Road Encounter, the plants are only ripe in the skeleton variation of that scene.
