Mining is a gathering skill. This skill requires the use of a pickaxe and facemask (for toxic fumes) and allows the gathering of ore, salts, gems, minerals, and chemicals.

Mining ore
To mine ore, place the pickaxe in one of the hotbar slots and press the corresponding key. The character must be standing next to the ore node for it to be mined.
