Purpose
This template may be used to summarize information about a particular village, town or city. This template is placed at the top of an article.

Parameters
| Parameter | Explanation |
|---|---|
| name | The name of the location. |
| image (optional) | The name of the image file (if there is any) together with its extension. |
| caption (optional) | Caption for image, if necessary. |
| location (optional) | The island, continent or land the location is in. |
| mayor (optional) | The mayor (or governor) of the location. |
| commander (optional) | The commander of the fort (if there is any) protecting the city. |
| population (optional) | The population of the town (only NPCs). |
| firstseen | The patch, release or date of the first appearance of the location in the game. |
| continent | The continent this NPC can be found on; Novia or Hidden Vale. Optional. (Required to show map) |
| scene | The scene on the continent. Optional. |
