Template:Infobox Item Crown of the Obsidians (also called COTOs) are rare coins that can be found throughout New Britannia. They are remnants of the Obsidian Empire, and hold great value both to collectors, and those who study the fallen Obsidians.
Uses for COTOs
COTOs are used in-game in the following ways:
- In-game Currency - COTOs are a form of in-game currency that can be used in transactions with other players, used to purchase in-game digital assets (such as items in the Crown Shop, deed upgrades, etc.), or used to pay lot taxes.
- Major Repairs on equip-able gear.
Where to Obtain COTOs
COTOS can be obtained by the following means:
- Occasionally found as loot on on defeated foes or as loot from Resource Nodes.
- Purchased from other players or from Player Vendors.
- Purchased from the in-game Crown Shop.
- Purchased from the Add-On Store on the Shroud of the Avatar website (https://www.shroudoftheavatar.com/?page_id=9085).
- In off line mode, some NPC Merchant Vendors sell Crowns of the Obsidians.
Offline Play
Some NPC vendors sell Crowns of the Obsidians in offline mode only.
