Meticulous Collection

Meticulous collection can occur while doing Mining, Forestry, Field Dressing, and Foraging (which are all Gathering skills).

With a non-meticulous collection, you are only able to gather once from the Resource Node and then the node is consumed. In this case, only Producer Experience is awarded for the gathering.

With a meticulous collection, the Resource Node was not consumed on the previous gather, so you are able to gather another time from the node. You can get multiple meticulous collections on a single node, with the number of back-to-back meticulous collections shown on the screen counter. Eventually, the node will run out of resources and the node will be consumed (so collection will stop and the node will disappear). With each meticulous collection, you are awarded both Adventurer Experience and Producer Experience. These experience awards show up in the loot window when the node is finally consumed (see Adventure And Producer Experience for a description of these awards). When you click "take all" in the loot window, the Experience points will automatically be added to your Experience Pools.

So, getting meticulous collections will not only increase the yield that you obtain for a resource node, but it will also increase the amount of experience points that you receive.

Things that Increase the Chance of Meticulous Collection

• Innate Skills - each gathering skill tree has an innate skill that will increase the chance of meticulous collection. The higher you raise these skills, the higher the chance of a meticulous collection when gathering the relevant resource node.
