Earth Resistance is a numerical representation of the Avatar's resistance to Earth Magic. A higher resistance value results in the Avatar having less susceptibility to the effects of Earth Magic.
Base Earth Resistance
The base earth magic resistance is half the Avatar's base attunement. The base earth attunement is the average of the ten highest glyph/skill levels with the earth magic tree (including both active and innate skills).
- Base Earth Atttunement = (sum of the 10 highest level earth skills)/10
- Base Earth Resistance = (Base Earth Attunment)/2
Overall Earth Resistance
The overall earth resistance is the base value plus (or minus) any earth resistance buffs (or debuffs) from equipping certain items, from consuming certain foods/potions, and from acquiring certain buffs/blessings.
Higher Earth Resistance can be achieved by:
