Mandrake Root is an Alchemy and Reagent resource. It is harvested from a Mandrake Plant. Mandrake Plants can be harvested using the Foraging skill in adventure scenes, harvested from growing crops from a Mandrake Plant Seed, with the Agriculture skill or it can be purchased.
A source of power for high level spells, it is gathered with a sickle. A mandrake is the root of a plant, historically derived either from plants of the genus Mandragora found in the Mediterranean region, or from other species, such as Bryonia alba, the English mandrake, which have similar properties. The plants from which the root is obtained are also called "mandrakes".
