Vendor is a specific type of NPC that sells merchandise.

There are three specific categories of Vendor:

Player Vendor - owned and managed players (only owners or players with permission can list items for sale).
Public Vendor - not owned by a player; however any player can list items for sale.
Merchant Vendor - not owned and not managed by players; items for sale are entirely controlled by the game.
